You can enroll in CNA if:
- You have a high school diploma or equivalent
You will learn:
- Anatomy and Physiology
- Diet and Nutrition
- Safety and Infection Control
- Medical Ethics and Terminology
- Patient Documentation and Reporting
- Communication Skills
- Assisting Patients with Daily Activities
- Techniques for Feeding Patients
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and First Aid
- Proper Hygiene
- Taking and Recording of Vital Signs
- Correct Procedures on Moving and Adjusting Patients
You will earn:
- If you pass the State Licensing Exam you will become a Certified Nursing Assistant
- CPR certification
As a SNAP E&T participant you will get:
- Books and class materials
- Blood Pressure Cuff and Stethoscope
- Your test and certification fees paid
