Course Description:

Data Navigators is a rigorous data analytics and visualization course using Excel and Tableau. Students will receive 6 hours of instruction each week during 36 class sessions: 2 hours of online technical training, 2 hours of in-person contextualized English Language instruction, and 2 hours of in-person hands-on practice in workforce preparation.

You can enroll if:

  • You earn a CASAS score of at least 228
  • Can show a basic understanding of spreadsheets by passing the Northstar assessment
  • Complete an assessment of your Excel skills

You will learn:

  • Use of technology
  • Increase your English skills
  • Data analytics
  • Tableau for data visualization
  • Additional support with math and reading skills

You will earn:

  • Northstar certification
  • Completion certificate

You will get:

  • Bus passes to get to class and interviews
